The 7 Steps to Success in Any Business Part 1
Welcome back to my video blog! I wanted to share the seven steps you need to succeed in life.
Often time, people ask me “how do I get a breakthrough?”. I have put together some videos to help you find the keys to success.
With these seven steps you too can succeed, not just at real estate, but at anything you pursue in your life. These are fundamental steps that will change your life.
Take notes or print this out so if you are ever having trouble you can review these basic but effective tips.
1. Live by faith vs. fear. There’s only two ways to live your life, by faith or fear. I want you to write down right now the 2-3 most dominant thoughts you have during the day. Are you worried about paying your bills? Have you not hit the gym in awhile? What is it that is constantly on your mind?
Why is that so important? I want you to realize that those negative thoughts are just thoughts! You can detach them. When you choose to live by faith your entire being changes. When you have a vision, a bigger goal, you become a believer. You need your mindset to be of confidence; believe in yourself.
2. Decide what you want. I meet so many people who don’t know what they want. How can you be successful if you don’t know how you want to succeed? When I was 18 I knew I wanted to get into a better living situation. I knew I wanted to get my mom a new home by the time I was 21. Then I knew I wanted to sell 50 homes a year. Then I wanted to make half a million dollars a year. So you see, I always knew what I wanted.
3. Make a plan. You can’t accomplish anything without a plan. Let me help you. Where do you see yourself in 2018? Where would you like to be? How many units closed? How many listings?
It doesn’t have to be just about your career. What’s your lifestyle like in 2018? How many investments have you made? Do you get to spend more time with your family? Are you getting to travel?
I believe every realtor out there can sell 100 homes a year. I’ve done it; I’ve coached others to do it. Start with your end goal in mind then, divide it by five. Slowly and steadily you can reach your goal.
I am going to leave the final four steps for the next video. I want you to focus on these three steps. In the next video we will focus on the final four.
